CHURCHBRIDGE CELEBRATES CANADA'S 150th BIRTHDAY

The next planning meeting for the celebration will be held Thursday, June 22 at 7 p.m. in the Community Centre.

THURSDAY
- 10 p.m. - Midnight Swim - (Hosted by Town of Churchbridge)

FRIDAY
- 9 a.m. - Heritage Committee Cemetery Tour (pre-registration required; watch for forthcoming information)
- 6 p.m. - Community Weiner Roast at Campground (Hosted by the Sport Park Committee)
- 7 p.m. - Air Band Contest at Community Hall (Hosted by Sagebrush Studios)
- Dusk - Outdoor Movie - (Hosted by Churchbridge Credit Union and Churchbridge Co-op)

SATURDAY
- 7 - 10 a.m. - Pancake Breakfast at Curling Club (Hosted by the Churchbridge Fire Department)
- 10:30 a.m. - Parade - Parade Marshalls are Julian Kaminski and Rob Fiola
(parade will start from the RM shop; run west along Vincent Ave. to Wowk; north to Prothero;
east on Prothero to Lovel; and back to the RM shop)

- Noon - Hamburger sale at Community Hall - (Hosted by the Churchbridge Dog Park Committee)
- 1-4 p.m. - Photo Archives open for viewing at the Churchbridge Library & Cultural Centre
- 1-4 p.m. - Display of handmade articles, flowers at the Evergreen Club (contact Ruth Swanson)
- 2 p.m. - Library Kids' Program at Community Hall Dining Room (Hosted by the Churchbridge Library Board)
- 3 p.m. - Official Canada 150 Program at Community Hall
- 3 p.m. - Old Fashioned Kids Games/Races (Hosted by the Churchbridge Daycare)
- 3:30 p.m. - Heritage Fashion Show at Community Hall (Hosted by Sagebrush Studios)
- 5 p.m. - BBQ Pork Supper (Hosted by Churchbridge Lions & Lionesses)
- 10 p.m. - Street Dance featuring "Stuck On Red" (Hosted by the Churchbridge Arena Board)
- Dark - Fireworks

SUNDAY
- 2 p.m. - Community Church Service at Community Hall (Non-denominational)
