CHURCHBRIDGE CELEBRATES CANADA'S 150th BIRTHDAY

This initiative is made possible by the Town of Churchbridge and our many local businesses and community groups, and by the Community Fund for Canada's 150th, a collaboration between the South Saskatchewan Community Foundation, the Government of Canada, and extraordinary leaders from coast to coast to coast.

THURSDAY
- 10 p.m. - Teen "Loonie" Swim Night- (Hosted by Town of Churchbridge)

FRIDAY
- 8:30 a.m. - Heritage Committee Cemetery Tour (Leaving from Trinity Lutheran Church at 8:30 a.m.; stop at MacNutt Bar for lunch;
the tour will wrap up at 3 p.m.)

- 1 p.m. - CAC Olympics at the Aquatic Centre (Hosted by the Churchbridge Aquatic Centre Staff)
- 3 p.m.- Beer Gardens Beside Arena (Hosted by Arena Board- No Minors allowed)
- 5 p.m. - Community Weiner Roast at Campground (Hosted by the Canada 150 Committee)
- 6-8 p.m.- Get your Bikes ready for parade at the Library (Hosted by the Library Board)
- 7 p.m. - Heritage Fashion Show at Community Hall (Hosted by Sagebrush Studios)
- Dusk - Outdoor Movie - Jurassic World - (Hosted by Churchbridge Credit Union and Churchbridge Co-op)

SATURDAY
- 7 - 10 a.m. - Pancake Breakfast at Curling Club (Hosted by the Churchbridge Fire Department)
- 10:30 a.m. - Parade - Parade Marshalls are Julian Kaminski and Rob Fiola
(parade will start from the RM shop; run west along Vincent Ave. to Wowk; north to Prothero;
east on Prothero to Lovel; and back to the RM shop)

- Noon - Hamburger sale at Community Hall - (Hosted by the Churchbridge Dog Park Committee)
- 1-3 p.m. - Open House at Royal Estates Prothero Ave W
1-4 p.m. - Photo Archives open for viewing at the Churchbridge Library & Cultural Centre
- 1-4 p.m. - Display of handmade articles, flowers at the Evergreen Club (contact Ruth Swanson)
- 2 p.m. - Library Kids' Program at Community Hall Dining Room (Hosted by the Churchbridge Library Board)
- 3 p.m. - Official Canada 150 Program at Community Hall
- 3 p.m. - Beer Gardens at Curling Rink (Hosted by the Curling Club- No Minors allowed)
- 3:30 p.m. - Old Fashioned Kids Games/Races at Sport Court (Hosted by the Churchbridge Daycare)
- 5 p.m. - BBQ Pork Supper (Hosted by Churchbridge Lions & Lionesses) Only 300 meals available so Pre-purchase tickets at the Churchbridge Credit Union
- 7 p.m. - Street Dance featuring "Stuck On Red" (Hosted by the Churchbridge Arena Board)
- Dark -Pyromusical Fireworks Show-
SUNDAY
- 2 p.m. - Community Church Service at Community Hall (Non-denominational)
(Hosted by the Churchbridge Interchurch Council)
- 3:30 p.m. - Coffee and dessert (Hosted by the Catholic Women's League)
